About the Position:

An exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to join the team in Union City, CA. Responsible for managing EH&S program, implements and manages safety programs to provide the road map to zero injuries and world class safety performance. Ensures site compliance with OSHA, state and federal EPA regulations, and applicable ISO standards. Helps drive CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, targets related to EH&S for logistics department.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline. Other degrees supported by certifications or training program completions will be considered.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant work experience focused on EH&S, preferably in a lean manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with Local, Federal, State and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with ISO 14001/45001.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with close attention to detail.
  • Competent in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
