Kimmel & Associates was formed in 1981 with the goal of providing service-oriented executive search to a group of specialized industries. Since then, we have become the largest industry-specific executive search firm in North America. For more than 40 years, we have been committed to exceeding expectations and providing unparalleled service through dedication, honesty, and stewardship—it’s the Kimmel Standard.
Our Office
Kimmel & Associates is located in the heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
Our office is a three-story Art Moderne commercial building, constructed in 1940. We have beautifully preserved and adapted it for our use. Kimmel is honored to be in this stunning historic area.
We are happy to call North Carolina home.
Our History
What originally began in 1981 as a two-man operation in Louisiana has since grown to become the largest specialty executive search firm in the country. Joe Kimmel and Rick Hornberger founded what later came to be called Kimmel & Associates on three core values: trust, integrity, and service.
Our CEO-President of the last twelve years , Charlie Kimmel, continues the tradition leading Kimmel & Associates with a focus on setting and enabling the highest levels of professional standards and client service — all with the aim of delivering outstanding results for his clients.
